So I'm JackJack, I'm a service dog in training. I still have a few things to work on, but my mom says I'm doing a great job. I love it when she calls me a good boy! My mom has a stress disorder. Before me she was having these crazy things called "panic attacks" all the time and it made her very sad. So she got me and I help! I'm so helpful! :)
When my mom found me I had just been transferred to a new shelter. I was on some list at another one and the list didn't sound like a good place to be, so the shelter ladies at the new shelter took me with them. Not even 24 hours of being in this new place had I seen my mom and grandma come in. Mom looked sad, but as soon as she saw me she smiled. I WANT HER!!! She was looking around taking us all in, but I was not going to let her pick someone else. I had to get her attention. I started jumping around on my hind legs to make me bigger and that caught grandma's attention. One down. One to go. Then grandma started saying,"What about this one?"
She was talking about me! :)
The mom came over and bent down to my level. That's when I pulled out all the stops. ;) I don't want to brag, but I'm quite the dancer and my kisses are to die for.
I made her laugh and then she sighed and said,"He's coming home with us."
I've been a big help ever since! I get to go to everywhere mom goes, it's the best! And she lets me say hello to other people wherever we go, I help them too. Sometimes all a person needs is a little love, and that is exactly what I am.
